Flatevaag

Flatevaag is a 3 km long saltwater lake pointing westwards from the shallow Vestnes Stream in the center of Vestnes . The lake is surrounded by countryside on the southern side Misfjord and Flate, and to the north Stokkeland and Aasbygd. In the western end the wilderness camp of Vestkyst Safari is located on Bjerkaneset. Flatevaag is an excellent area for kayaking in almost all weather conditions.
